The Kashmir region is teeming with stunning, untouched natural beauty. The country is aptly known as “Paradise on Earth,” and a recent online video that has gone viral demonstrates how Kashmir’s captivating beauty bears up to that moniker.
The Bangus Valley, which is located in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara area, is shown in the video footage Norwegian ambassador Erik Solheim uploaded. In the brief video, horses are seen contentedly grazing among the beautiful green grass as a clear-water stream rushes by a steep meadow.

The video has received more than 214,000 views and more than 10,000 likes since it was uploaded.
“Thanks, Sir you for sharing this lovely film else some people here, think about just and only Switzerland,” one person commented in the comment section. The Valley is as stunning as Gulmarg and Pahalgam, but less developed and more unspoiled, according to another.

A fourth person merely referred to the film as “beautiful,” while a third said, “Among countless pearls, this is one of Great India.”

The bordering hills and varied spectrum of flora and animals in the Bangus Valley are well-known features. It is equally stunning to Gulmarg and Pahalgam, but less tainted and unspoiled. The Sanskrit words “Ban,” which means forest, and “Gus,” which means grass, are combined to give the valley its name.

Anand Mahindra, an industrialist, uploaded a video of a stunning cafe run by the Indian Army in Kashmir earlier this year. In the video, blogger Garima Goel took viewers on a tour of the Log Hut Cafe, which is located in a valley among the hills known as Gurez. She said that in addition to a wide selection of drinks and snacks, the restaurant offers its patrons a breathtaking view of the outside.
