XG make their debut appearance at “SXSW Sydney” on “Billboard THE STAGE.” Marking XG’s first live performance in Australia.

The Japanese Hip Hop/R&B-inspired girl group XG made their debut appearance at “SXSW Sydney” on “Billboard THE STAGE.” This marks XG’s first live performance in Australia.

During their 50-minute live performance they sang a total of 9 songs, including GRL GVNG, TGIF, NEW DANCE and PUPPET SHOW from their 1st Mini Album, NEW DNA. The girls also performed, for the first time, a cover of Artists Stand Up To Cancer’s “JUST STAND UP!”. The atmosphere was electric from start to finish.

Harvey, who has roots in Australia, expressed her joy at returning to Australia after seven years: “Performing in Australia has been a dream since I was little, and I’m so excited to be able to do it with my fellow members.”

Additionally, XG featured on the cover of the US Billboard magazine, released on the 20th, becoming the first Japanese girl group to do so.

With their appearances at “Head In The Clouds” in NY and LA, “KCON LA 2023,” “FORMULA1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2023,” and “SXSW Sydney,” XG has made a significant impact with every single performance. Keep an eye out for XG’s future activities.

XG is a seven-member Hip-hop/R&B-inspired girls group consisting of JURIN, CHISA, HARVEY, HINATA, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA.
The group debuted on March 2022 with their 1st single “Tippy Toes” from XGALX, a global entertainment production company that introduces BOLD culture to the world and produces artists with a unique worldview.
In June of the same year, they released their 2nd Single “MASCARA”. They released their 3rd Single “SHOOTING STAR” on January 25, 2023.
The group’s name “XG” stands for “Xtraordinary Girls.
Through their unconventional and unique style of music and performance, they will empower people from all walks of life around the world.
