Abhishek Bachchan has recently suffered an injury on the sets of his forthcoming film in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has now shared a health update on social media. The actor revealed that he underwent surgery in Mumbai to fix the fracture and now he has resumed work in Chennai.
Junior Bachchan was recently hospitalized, where his father and actor Amitabh Bachchan and sister Shweta Bachchan visited him. Taking to his Instagram space on Wednesday, he has now shared his health update along with a photo of himself. In the photo, Abhishek Bachchan can be seen with a cast and a sling on his right arm.
In the caption, the actor wrote, “Had a freak accident in Chennai on the set of my new film last Wednesday. Fractured my right hand. Needed surgery to fix it! So a quick trip back home to Mumbai. Surgery is done, all patched-up and cast. And now back in Chennai to resume work. As they say… The show must go on! And as my father said… Mard ko dard nahin hota! Ok, ok, ok it hurt a little. Thank you all for your wishes and get-well-soon messages.”
Several celebs took to the comment section and sent their good wishes to the actor. Commenting on his post, sister Shweta Bachchan called him, “best patient ever.” Sonam Kapoor’s husband Anand Ahuja wrote, “Get well soon my bro.” Power couple Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia D’Souza wrote, “Get well soon,” in the comments section. While, several others, dropped heart red emoji on his post.
Last week, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were spotted at Mumbai airport. Abhishek Bachchan had come to see off his wife and daughter, who were on their way for Aishwarya’s Ponniyin Selvan shoot. The shutterbugs clicked the family hugging each other before parting their ways.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek Bachchan has Dasvi and Bob Biswas in the pipeline.
