The social comedy film ‘Dasvi’ is set to release later this year. Abhishek Bachchan has completed the Agra schedule of the film. The actor will be seen portraying the character of Ganga Ram Chaudhary. The upcoming film is from the makers of ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Angrezi Medium’ and ‘Bala’.
Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram to share the news, sharing a still of Abhishek he wrote, “Abhishek; #Dasvi agra schedule ends… #AbhishekBachchan completes first schedule of #Dasvi in #Agra.. #Abhishek and crew will head to #Lucknow for Lucknow schedule… Costars #YamiGautam and #NimratKaur… Directed by Tushar Jalota… #Jio studios and Dinesh Vijan present.”
In the movie Abhishek Bachchan will be alongside Yami Gautam. The film also features Nimrat Kaur in a prominent role. Yami Gautam will be seen in the role of a police officer in the movie. The drama is directed by Tushar Jalota with Dinesh Vijan and Sandeep Leyzell as producers.
Earlier this month, Yami wraped her film shoot and the actress shared a happy dance video to express her excitement. Sharing the video, actress wrote, “And it’s a wrap on ‘Dasvi’ for me! Saying goodbyes on certain film sets are difficult because of the amazing and memorable teamwork you’ve had! Thank you so much #TeamDasvi for this unforgettable experience and getting #JyotiDeswal really close to my heart”. In another video the team along with Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam can be seen celebrating the moment by cutting a cake.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in his upcoming movie ‘The Big Bull’ slated to release on Aril 8, on Disney+ Hotstar. The film also features Ileana D’Cruz and is directed by Kookie Gulati.
