Today, July 22, on its 10th anniversary, Ajay Devgn wrote a heartfelt note about the blockbuster hit film and also shared with fans about its special airing on television.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Jismein hai dum, toh fakt Bajirao Singham. Singham sirf ek film nahin hai, Singham ek jasba hai, emotion hai, ek salaam hai uss police force ke naam jo apni parwah kiye bina, imandaari aur sachhi nishtha se apna kaam iss desh ki seva mein kar rahe hain (The one who has power, is only Bajirao Singham. Singham is not just a film, it’s passion, it’s emotion, it’s a salute to the police force who don’t think about themselves, but work with honesty and dedication in service of the country).”
Ajay further thanked fans for Singham’s success and dedicated the film to all the frontline workers. He added, “I want to thank the team and all the fans for the super successful 10 years of Singham. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s cop universe began with Singham a decade ago in 2011 with Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The film was followed by Ajay Devgan’s Singham Returns in 2014. In the third film, actor Ranveer Singh was featured which was titled, Simmba. Now, in the fourth installment, Akshay Kumar is set to entertain fans with Sooryavanshi, which also features Katrina Kaif.
What’s on the work front?
Ajay Devgn is awaiting the release of Bhuj: The Pride of India. Also starring Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Sharad Kelkar and Nora Fatehi. The film will release on Disney+Hotstar on August 13.
Ajay Devgn is also all set to make his digital debut with a crime-thriller web series Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness.
