Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn lost his father Veeru Devgan on May 27, 2019. The actor often remembers him with heartwarming social media posts. Today, July 24, on the occasion of Guru Purnima, the Singham actor took to social media to post a throwback snap with his father. Sharing the snap, the actor also penned a note. Last month in June, Ajay remembered his dad on his birth anniversary. Veeru Devgan was a stunt director and celebrated action.

Ajay Devgn often misses his dad. He shared a throwback photo today with Veeru Devgan and wrote on Twitter, “Saluting my father (Veeru Devgn), my Guru, on this auspicious day. I was fortunate to get my life and career lessons from him. A valued gift that I carry with me like a badge of honor #GuruPurnima.”

The actor remembered his father on his birth anniversary on June 25. Sharing a photo with his dad, he wrote that life hasn’t been the same without his father. Ajay captioned the post, “I miss you every day. More so today. Happy birthday Papa. Life hasn’t been the same since.”

Ajay Devgan remembered his father on May 27, 2020, which marked his first death anniversary. Ajay shared a video clip of throwback pictures with him on Instagram. In a heartfelt note, he wrote, “Dear Dad, it’s a year since you left. However, I can feel you beside me—quiet, caring, protective; your presence is forever reassuring.”

What’s on the work front?

Ajay Devgn has several films lined up. He will be seen next in Maidaan, backed by Boney Kapoor. The film is inspired by the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

Besides this, Ajay also has Bhuj: The Pride of India, Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Thank God, and MayDay in his pipeline. Ajay will also make a cameo appearance along with Ranveer Singh in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi.

Apart from these, the actor will also make his digital debut with the web series Rudra – The Edge of Darkness soon.
