Actress turned politician Kirron Kher is celebrating her 69th birthday today, June 14. To celebrate the special day, Kirron’s actor husband Anupam Kher took to social media and penned a heartwarming note for her sharing a series of pictures from the different occasion.
Anupam took to his official Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures in which the actress is seen posing with Hollywood stars, Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper. She can also be seen posing with the Dalai Lama in one of the shared pictures. In the last snap of the series Kirron is seen with his late father- Army officer Colonel Thakur Singh Sandhu.
Sharing the pictures, Anupam penned a heartwarming note for his wife and wrote, “Happy birthday dearest #Kirron!! May God give you a long and healthy life. Veteran actress and Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP from Chandigarh, Kirron Kher was diagnosed with Blood cancer last year in December. Anupam Kher shared the same news on Instagram in April and wrote, “Just so that rumors don’t get the better of a situation Sikander and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.”
Later, his note read as “She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been- fighter and takes things head-on, She’s all heart and that’s why she has so many people that love her, so keep sending your love to her in your prayers and your heart. She is well on her way to recovery and we thank everyone for their support and love.”
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Anupam Kher has several projects lined up. He will be seen in projects like ‘The Last Show’, ‘Happy Birthday’, ‘Mungilal Rocks’, ‘The Kashmir Files’.
