Actress Anupria Goenka has had a lot of success on the internet. All of her films on the site have received positive feedback, including Criminal Justice, Ashram, and Asur. Success, on the other hand, entails good work in all mediums for her. Her career includes Padmaavat (2018) and War (2019), indicating that she is equally at home on the big screen.

“As an actor, I value both OTT material and big-screen pictures equally. I’ve never concentrated on a single media, but I’ve always valued a compelling plot. I’ll work on a project as long as it excites me, challenges me, and allows me to collaborate with amazing artists, regardless of where it is released. “I want to explore more in the future, regardless of media,” says the 34-year-old.

What interests her about OTT platforms is that they dare to explore issues that haven’t been explored much in films previously, and in a way that is unrestricted. “These streaming sites also touched on many odd and courageous issues last year,” the actor says. I believe that the same tendency will continue in the future, with filmmakers and artists delving into a different sphere of Indian cinema by adopting a non-conformist approach.”

But, while the substance is being discussed, how does the wage situation for female actresses compare to that of their male counterparts? “But maybe the situation is changing,” Goenka adds of the inequality. The only way to achieve that is to assign more significant responsibilities to women and to include more women in various aspects of a project.”

She believes it is past time for her to branch out into new disciplines within her field of employment. “I’d probably start singing this year… As an actor, I’ve got a few of projects lined up for the coming year that I’m really looking forward to. I’d like to work on roles that push me as an actor to new heights. I’d want to work in a sports drama, a historical drama, or an action film. I want to keep growing and trying new things. “I also want to learn a new set of talents,” Goenka explains.
