Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who turned 33 on May 1, took to social media to thank her fans and well wishers for sending her birthday wishes. She took on Instagram on Sunday and shared a video mentioning that she didn’t felt like celebrating her birthday this year due to ongoing covid-19 crisis in the country.
In the video shared, Anushka thanked her fans for lovely wishes on her birthday and informed her fans that she and her husband Virat Kohli will do their bit to help people suffering from Covid-19.
They will make the announcement for the same soon. She also urged people to unite and help in this hour of crisis. She captioned her video with a folded hand emoji.
On her birthday, friends and colleagues of Anushka took to social media to wish her on her birthday.
Sonam Kapoor shared a picture with Anushka and wrote, “Happy happy birthday, you trailblazer. May every day start a “clean slate” and be filled with only laughter, love and joy.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a monochromatic picture from Anushka’s wedding and wrote,”Happy birthday to the trailblazing, @anushkasharma.”
Anushka was last seen in film Zero along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She has recently produced two projects- Amazon Prime Video web series Pataal Lok and Netflix movie Bulbul.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in December 2017 in a private affair in Italy. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter, Vamika in January this year.
