Basu made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with the flick Ajnabee. Grover was already a well-known TV personality when he made his feature film debut with Basu in the horror flick Alone. The two reunited once more in the online thriller Dangerous, which premiered in 2020.
Basu, 43, has previously stated that she fought hard to persuade her parents to accept her relationship with Grover, who had previously been married twice.
“A failing marriage does not imply that the human being is in error.” So they should not be vilified,” she told Pinkvilla earlier this year. “I explained to my parents that the type of connection I had was far longer and larger than his marriage.”

The couple married over three days. The wedding ceremonies were done following Basu’s Bengali tradition, with the bride donning a custom-made sari by fellow Bengali and celebrity designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
