Suniel Shetty starts initiative for provide free oxygen concentrators to fight against Covid-19

As the cases of novel corona virus are still in surge across the country. Bollywood celebrities are extending their help to the people in need. Actor Suniel Shetty extended his help for the Nobel cause and announced that he will be providing oxygen concentrators in a new initiative. 

He took to his official Instagram account on Wednesday and wrote, “We are going through some testing times, but a ray of hope in this is the way our people have joined hands to help each other. I am grateful to be a part of this initiative along with FeedMyCity1, an initiative of KVN Foundation, to provide free oxygen concentrators.”

Suniel Shetty further added the details to reach him who need help or if anyone wants to contribute and be a part of the mission.

In the ongoing crisis, many bollywood celebrities are offering their help to the people in need. Actor Akshay and his wife also announced to extend the help of 100 oxygen concentrators. Earlier this week, superstar Salman started an initiative ‘Being Haangryy’ to feed frontline workers in Mumbai. Also, actors Sonu Sood, Ajay Devgn are coming forward to help the people fighting with the deadly virus. 

Meanwhile, many other celebs are using their social media platforms to amplify the resources and needs for those who are struggling in the current Covid-19 crisis in the country. They are trying to do their bit by sharing relevant information for the availability of the beds, oxygen cylinders and also urging people to stay at home. 

In last 24 hours, a total of 3,60,960 fresh covid cases has been recorded while the death count reported to be 3,293. Reportedly, the total active cases across the country are 29,78,709. The total death count is 2,01,187 while total of 1,48,17,371 people have recovered so far from the deadly virus.
