Bollywood remembers Irrfan Khan on his first death anniversary

Actor par excellence, Irrfan Khan’s death came as a personal loss last year on April 29 to the nation. He was amongst the finest actors of his generation in the industry. Bollywood celebs took to their respective social media and remembered the legendary actor on his first death anniversary.

Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram and shared a photo of Irrfan and wrote, “The outstanding legacy you have left behind will always be cherished by all of us!”

“Love and respect always”, wrote actress Dia Mirza as she shares Irrfan’s photo on her Instagram stories.

Actor Piyush Mishra shared a still from Irrfan’s film Paan Singh Tomar and wrote in hindi, “Pyare Irrfan” and then added “Rest in peace”.

Randeep Hooda shared a black and white picture of Irrfan on his Instagram feed and captioned the post as, “I suppose in the end, the whole life becomes an act of letting go. #Irrfan”

The acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in March 2018, after which he flew to London for treatment.  In February 2019, he returned to India for the shoot of his last film, Angrezi Medium and again went to London for his treatment.

In September he came back to India after his treatment. In April 2020, he was hospitalized in a private hospital in Mumbai where he breathed his last on April 29, 2020.
