According to the South Korean pop group’s management agency, BTS member V has achieved a “full recovery” from COVID-19 and was freed from quarantine on Tuesday.

Kim Tae-hyung, the 26-year-old singer, was diagnosed with the condition on February 15.

BigHit Music stated on the fan community forum Weverse, “We would like to notify you that BTS member V has achieved a full recovery from COVID-19 and his quarantine has ended as of today, February 22.”

V has been receiving treatment from home since Tuesday the 15th, and he is now allowed to resume his normal activities, according to the agency. The musician did not display any specific symptoms during his confinement, according to BigHit Music.

“He had a small temperature when he initially started therapy at home, but he has since recovered completely. “Last Thursday, in response to a concerned fan’s remark on Weverse, V said, “I am feeling good.”

When the agency reported V’s diagnosis, they stated that the singer had spoken with the other members of the band, but that everyone was wearing masks.

Fellow BTS members Suga, group leader RM, and Jin tested positive for the virus in December. BTS member Jimin underwent surgery for severe appendicitis in January 2021, while simultaneously recuperating from COVID-19.

After performing four in-person concerts in Los Angeles late last year, the seven-member band, which also features Jung Kook, is presently on a “long time of recuperation.”

BTS will perform three ‘Permission to Dance’ concerts in Seoul next month.
