The South Korean boyband is due to perform in their own nation in March, following the success of their in-person Permission to Dance on stage event.

BTS, dubbed “one of the largest bands in the world,” is presently on hiatus following the success of their Permission to Dance on Stage performance in Los Angeles last year. The band is also gearing up for their next show, which will take place in March in Seoul, South Korea’s capital. Many fans, though, are keen to learn if the band is planning a world tour anytime soon.

BTS’ official YouTube channel released a video titled BTS @ 2021 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, which shows behind-the-scenes footage of the K-pop group’s performance and preparation during the event. The band met with a few reporters and answered questions before taking the stage. In one scene, the band’s leader, RM, is shown urging his band mates to ‘blink thrice’ if a global tour is scheduled for 2022.

While answering the question, the seven-piece band didn’t forget their quirky charm, blinking at varying speeds. V, the main vocalist, can be seen blinking repeatedly, while J-Hope blinked twice and replaced his fashionable red glasses. While their enigmatic statement did not provide a definitive answer to the ARMY followers, it was enough to pique their interest. ARMY quickly took to social media to express their delight about the possibility of a world tour announcement this year.

Meanwhile, Jungkook’s latest solo album, Stay Alive, produced by bandmate Suga, set many global records. The song went on to top the iTunes charts in 93 different nations. On the US chart, Jungkook’s OST for the band’s webtoon 7FATES: CHAKHO dethroned renowned musicians such as Ed Sheeran and Nicki Minaj. Stay Alive is also supported on the UK iTunes list by member V’s Sweet Night.
