Janhvi Kapoor has discussed Ishaan Khatter, her original co-star, and their dynamics. In 2018, Janhvi made her acting debut in Dhadak alongside Ishaan. According to reports, the two even dated one another before calling it quits.
Janhvi discussed the relationship she still shares with him in a recent interview. She claimed that despite being quite busy with their individual lives and occupations, they still have a cordial relationship.
RJ Siddharth Kanan was addressed by Janhvi, who remarked, “Though I believe we are both now quite busy, there is always that warmth when we get together. The song Rangsaari, released by Jugg Jugg Jeeyo, was intended for Dhadak. We played the song each time we shot a montage for Dhadak. We thought this song was ours when it first came out because it touched us deeply. “Did you see it?” we texted to one another. It had a weird feeling.”
The original version of Rangsari, sung by Kanishk Seth and Kavita Seth, was quite popular on Instagram Reels. Jugjugg Jeeyo, the most recent film starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, gave it a contemporary makeover.
Dhadak, starring Janhvi and Ishaan, was a successful Marathi version of the film Sairat. Janhvi then appeared in Gunjan Saxena’s films The Kargil Girl, Ghost Stories, and Roohi. Good Luck Jerry will be her upcoming release. It is a remake of the Nayanthara and Yogi Babu-starring the 2018 Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila.
According to Janhvi, who was speaking about the original, “I saw the original film and thought it was interesting and humorous. Yogi Babu and Nayanthara are two people I adore. In the movie, Nayanthara was simply such a badass. I considered “Good Luck Jerry” to be a whole different environment. Along with Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, she also has Bawaal.
Ishaan appeared in Khaali Peeli and A Suitable Boy after Dhadak. Ishaan’s next film, Phone Bhoot, stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Katrina Kaif.
