Maahek and Praveen Nair are the proud trainers of Shraddhu(actor Shraddha Kapoor), who is in news for her great looks and perfectly toned body in the movie opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She is looking leaner, hotter and much sharper in the movie than ever before.

The couple, Maahek is a sports nutritionist and a Pilates coach. Praveen, is a celebrity fitness coach and a founder of fitness brands like BodyProCoach online training and sweat Pilates. They believe fitness is a lifestyle and each one of us should incorporate it in our lives like brushing our teeth and taking a shower.

Talking about Shraddha’s exercise regime, Maahek says that since the shooting schedule was quite tight, especially during the international shoot in Spain and Mauritius, they would train at 5.30 am, as she had early morning shoots.

As per her food and diet, she was on moderate carbs, proteins and fats. She was on a lot of liquids as it was extremely hot. Her meals included tofu steak and vegetables, sprout salads, sprout and gluten free tikkis, gluten free pasta with lots of vegetables, drinks kike BCCA, lemon water with mint, etc.

Shraddha needed to look lean with no water retention. Her meals were kept high in fibre, moderate protein, low in carbs and fats. She followed a regime of intermittent fasting for about 14 to 16 hours.

The trainers feel that staying fit requires a fit mind, so train and teach your mind first before you make fitness a part of your life.
