Don has been an all-time favorite movie and be it Amitabh Bachchan’ s version or SRK’ s, the audience have loved it and are wanting more. A while back, reports were that Farhan Akhtar is coming back with Don 3 and everyone is excited.
But to burst the bubble, there are rumors SRK has declined the offer as the script was not satisfactory. A close source tells us that Farhan Akhtar had thought of giving Amitabh Bachan’s done a space plus planned a Ranveer Singh cameo. Sounds interesting! If the three of them join hands, the movie is sure to be a blockbuster hit.
A confidential source said, “Farhan had an ambitious idea of getting Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan together in third instalment. Interestingly Bachchan saab was the lead in the original 1978 Don. It had a different ending and showed the good-natured Vijay surviving and Don dying, while SRK’ s version showed vice-versa. Hence, it’s not clear whether or not Big B was supposed to play the role from original version. However, Farhan had thought of casting Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in Don 3.”
“And that’ s not all. As per Farhan’ s plot, Don 3 was also supposed to have a cameo by Ranveer Singh. He too was going to play Don. The idea was that SRK’s Don character would pass the baton to Ranveer’s Don character so he can take on the iconic role in the future parts.”
Don 3 is one of the most awaited films of all time. Whether the story and the idea appeal SRK, the curiosity and desperation to watch Don 3 is sky-high. Let’s see how the reunion occurs.
