The confirmation of BTS’ free performance in Busan came a few days ago. Upon hearing the news, the ARMY was thrilled, but many also voiced worries about the location and potential organizational challenges. The event will now take place in Busan Asiad Main Stadium, according to a statement from the group’s management organization.
But first, for those who are unaware, BTS was chosen as the ambassador for the World Expo 2030 Busan back in early July. The worldwide concert is one of several crucial tasks that the members will need to do in order to bring the EXPO to their city.
BigHit Entertainment announced the information about the BTS concert on August 24. The performance, titled Yet To Come – in Busan, was scheduled on October 15 next to Ilgwang, which is comparable to an open beach area.
Since the announcement, ARMY has expressed worries about the location and any potential management problems. It appears that the business eventually paid attention to them and changed the location after several of them used social media to express their opinions. It will now take place in Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
BigHit stated in a statement, “Our decision to move the concert’s venue was taken in an effort to guarantee that the spotlight stays on the performance’s primary goal, which is to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.
The statement said, “Our top focus is to protect the concert’s primary goal and to ensure that audience members have a seamless, pleasurable, and accessible watching experience.”
The live viewing experience won’t alter at all. There will be live streams available on Weverse, ZEPETO, and Naver Now. In addition, a Live Play event will be held, giving spectators the chance to see the show live on a big screen.
The performance, meanwhile, will take place on October 15 at 2.30 PM IST/6 PM KST.
