Actress Naya Rivera gets tribute from Glee co-stars on her first death anniversary. Rivera is popularly known for portraying the role of Santana Lopez in Glee, which is an American musical comedy-drama television series. Last year on July 8, the actress met with a tragic boating accident and passed away at Lake Piru in California. Remembering the late actress on her first death anniversary, Rivera’s co-star paid heartfelt tribute to the actress. Lea Michele, Kevin McHale and several others took to their social media handle, and gave honour and respect to the actress.

Lea Michele, that portrayed the role of Rachel Berry, shared a black and white photo of the late actress on her Instagram Stories with an emoji of Dove with olive branch, which indicates peace.

Matthew MorrisonGlee‘s Will Schuester, shared a picture Rivera and kept the post simple by adding a heart emoji alongside of the photo.

Another co-star of the late actress, Kevin McHale paid his tribute to Naya by stating, “I miss you. Every single day.” Heather Morris also gave honour to the actress by sharing multiple pictures, from which one her own personal tattoo tribute to Naya that states, “legacy lives on in kindness”. Her post caption reads, “It hasn’t gotten easier to write a caption. You are the brightest star in my eyes Naya Rivera. I’m so grateful GOD LAYED A HAND and brought us together as best friends, mom friends, scene partners, and everything in between.” “Your legacy lives on in kindness and being ‘that sassy queen’ in my eyes. I love you forever bebe girl.” Heather continued.

Many other celebrities like Chris Colfer, the series’ Kurt Hummel, and Sue Sylvester’s Jane Lynch and fans paid their heartfelt tribute on her death anniversary and remembered the late actress.

Rivera, 33, went on a boating trip with her then-4-year-old son Josey on Southern California’s Lake Piru. Josey was found on the same day, but Rivera’s tragic death came into confirmation after five-day search on July 13.
