Fashion trends are forever evolving and as per the trend whether its baggy jeans or sheer clothing, that’s what everyone follows. Fashion weeks play a major role in defining the style and trend of the season and as the street style descended on the New York Fashion Week, one that stood out was the latte-dressing.

Firstly, like the coffee latte, this is synonymous with brown. Latte makeup is a combination of smouldering brown eyeshadows paired with chocolaty shades of lip sticks and highlighters. As per HT Lifestyle, when Manishi Joshi, the creative Head of Premya was questioned about this trend, she delved some details about the fashion scene that’s all-over social media and reels.

She said, “Latte dressing essentially comes from the shades and hues of brown, a subtle mix of cinnamon and chocolate and bronzers following after the quiet luxury fashion trend we saw this year. It started as a TikTok trend and made its way to fashion weeks. In Indian fashion since its fall as well, a lot of consumers are requesting various shades of tan, brown or mocha in sarees and lehngas in rich heirloom fabrics. Quite luxury with earthly colours.”

Shivani Parikh, founder of Shivanii, states, “As seen recently on the streets during the fashion month, embrace the ‘latte dressing’ trend to infuse your capsule wardrobe with a sense of comfort and radiate warmth through the soothing hues inspired by coffee blends.
