A short, fun movie, with a lot of teenagers but a good message, Friday Night Plan is streaming on Netflix. A story of a single mom, bringing up her teenage boys and handling the business.

The story is of Adi, the younger, cool-dude brother, whose attitude is to enjoy the present and Sid, the elder sibling, who is forever weighing the odds, shy, nerdy, thoughtful, responsible and a quiet person. They study in an international school where the kids are from rich backgrounds.

Juhi Chawla, the mom, has to leave town for an important business and makes the sons promise that they will be responsible and not fight nor take out the car. The days starts with a football match in school, where in Sid becomes the hero by scoring a goal and is invited to the hottest girl’s party- the FNP!

The brothers, decide to venture out and have a little fun. In order to please Natasha, they take the car and run into trouble with the police. No more details about the storyline, cos I have divulged enough information.

What stands out is the love the brothers have and how will they complement each other’s negative traits. Babil Khan’s acting stands tall. Adi is fantastic too, screenplay is well-written, thankfully no abuses, no obscene sex and a good script.

A decent watch.
