She also signed a series alongside Cate Blanchett and Sacha Baron Cohen called Disclaimer. She is presently going to feature in Joe Talbot’s film The Governesses, which is being directed by her.

The film will be HoYeon Jung’s second in the United States. According to reports, The Governesses will chronicle the narrative of three rebellious governesses who inspire the minds of the boys in their care to upend the family in which they serve. The planned film is based on Anne Serre’s novel of the same name. The novel is famed for its feminist fantasy, and the director’s approach to telling the narrative will be interesting to see. Talbot also worked on the critically acclaimed film The Last Black Man In San Francisco.
According to Deadline, the new show Disclaimer is described as a thriller. HoYeon Jung will portray Kim, a journalist who works under Cate Blanchett’s character, Catherine Ravenscroft. Her persona should be ambitious, diligent, and willing to please. He also realizes that working for Ravencroft will be a significant career change for her.
The premise of the series is expected to focus around the life of Ravenscroft, a respected TV journalist who is recognized for uncovering long-standing institutions’ breaches. Ravenscroft will be fearful of the disclosure of her darkest secret after finding into a novel by her bedside with a character who is strikingly similar to her.
Sacha Baron Cohen and Kodi Smit-McPhee are among the series’ other cast members. Alfonso Cuaron, who is also directing the movie, wrote the screenplay for the next series. HoYeon Jung is also expected to appear in the second season of Squid Game, a South Korean blockbuster program.
