*As it might cause acidity, it’s best to avoid it on an empty stomach.

*If you feel anxiety, acidity, or excessive dryness, dilute with milk.

Adding ghee might help counteract excessive dryness while drinking a cup of black coffee.

*After 3 p.m., avoid coffee if you’ve had a bad night’s sleep.

*Menopause, skin disorders, and restlessness are contraindications to using this product.

*In terms of energy, coffee has a lot of ‘rajas,’ or stimulating energy. As such, if you suffer from lethargy, you should have a cup of coffee in the morning between 8 and 10 am,” she said.

*If you’re going to drink it in the middle of a meal, steer clear of it because it can slow down digestion and make you less hungry for the rest of your meal.
