Jahnvi Kapoor’s thriller released at the box office on November 4th. Her performance was highly appreciated but the movie managed to earn only Rs 2.24 crore net at the box office.
Netflix made an announcement, “Freeze! Stop everything you’re doing and go watch Mili’s story. Now streaming.”
The Malayalam film, Helen, on which this one is based was produced by Alfred Kurian Joseph, Noble Babu Thomas and Xavier. The Hindi version is also directed by Xavier.
The movie stars Sunny Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Suri, Anurag Arora and Jahnvi Kapoor in a lead role. Javed Akhtar wrote the lyrics of the music created by AR Rahman.
As the story goes, a young woman Mili fights for her life as her father and boyfriend start looking for her after she unintentionally locks herself in a walk-in freezer at work. Jahnvi proved her mettle by planning this role. She had to spend 15 hours a day in a small freezer at -15 degrees. She filmed for 20 days like this and had to gain 7.5 kgs to appear more genuine and play her part well.
