BTS released BTS World: Original Soundtrack in June of this year. The album served as the official soundtrack for the BTS World mobile game. BTS’ Jungkook celebrated his birthday with fans via a VLIVE webcast on August 31. Jungkook seems to forget that BTS’ song “Heartbeat” from BTS World: Original Soundtrack exists during the webcast.

There are four songs and many instrumental tracks on the BTS World: Original Soundtrack tracklist. Three of the singles are sub-unit songs with BTS members and a guest artist, while “Heartbeat” is performed entirely by BTS members.

Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Charli XCX perform “Dream Glow.” On BTS World: Original Soundtrack, J-Hope, V, and Zara Larsson perform the song “A Brand New Day.” Suga, RM, and Juice Wrld appear on the track “All Night.”

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook perform “Heartbeat” without any special effects. The members of BTS sing about destiny and being fated to meet each other in the song. BTS members appear in a music video as characters from BTS World, which is mixed with live footage of the band.

On September 1, 1997, Jungkook was born. On Aug. 31, the BTS singer did a VLIVE webcast to celebrate his birthday with fans. The VLIVE was named “Happy Birthday To Me” by Jungkook.

Jungkook stayed online with ARMY for nearly two hours using the VLIVE. The BTS member received requests from fans and played different songs to engage with them. Jungkook looked over the post and was perplexed until a fan suggested “Heartbeat.”

He then went online to look for the music. He smiled and covered his face with his palm as soon as “Heartbeat” came on over the speakers. Jungkook sang “Heartbeat” for fans after remarking on how long it had been since he had heard it.

The song “Heartbeat” was not heavily promoted because it was published as part of an official soundtrack rather than a studio album. BTS fans continue to post about the song on social media years after it was released, anticipating that the members of BTS would play it one day.
