Before filing for divorce earlier this year, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had been married for seven years. Despite the fact that they are no longer together, the two have a strong affinity. Kim recently had a podcast interaction with Kristen Bell, in which the Keep Up With The Kardashians actress lauded the rapper and stated that ex-husband West taught her to “live in the moment” amid their divorce.

Further on Bell’s We Are Supported By podcast, Kim revealed about Kanye having a wonderful influence in her life who changed her way of thinking, especially when it came to putting herself first. commenting on the life lessons that West has taught her, the KUWTK star said, “I got to a point, and maybe being in a relationship with Kanye for a decade, and someone that absolutely didn’t care about likeability factor or what any of perception of him was as long as he was true to himself, that taught me so much in the best way, of, just being me and living in the moment.”

Kim went on, and said that West has helped her stop being a “people pleaser”, and this has helped her gain confidence in herself. Kim specifically mentioned her new attitude, which has helped her gain confidence on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she also stated that she didn’t mind being the “b***h of the week” on the show as long as she remained herself.

In February of this year, Kim filed for divorce from West. Despite their breakup Kim have been very supportive as she recently showed up for West by showing out her support in Atlanta at both his Donda album listening event. The couple also went on a family outing, which seemed to indicate how well they are handling their co-parenting responsibilities.
