Lalit Modi, the founder of IPL made a revelation on July 14, that he is currently dating the former Miss Universe. In the first tweet, he wrote, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour#maldives # Sardinia with the families- not to mention my better half@sushmitasen47- a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon.”
This tweet created a sensation as netizens started wishing the couple, thinking they were married. There on, he posted another tweet clarifying that the actress and he were simply dating, no wed lock as of now.
For those who do not know Mr. Modi, he has been the Chairperson of Champions League from 2008-2010. He was the Vice President of BCCI in India during 2005-2010. He has been the President of Rajasthan Cricket Association and served as the Vice President of the Punjab Cricket Association.
Meanwhile, earlier Sushmita also reacted to the wedding rumors with Lalit on her social media. Sharing a photo with her daughters Renee Sen and Alisah Sen, Sen writes, “I am in a happy place!!Not married. No rings..Unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification given..now back to life and work!! Thankyou for sharing in my happiness always and for those who don’t…it’s #NYOB Anyway!!! I love you guys!!#duggadugga#yourstruly.”
Ruchir Modi, Lalit’ s son adds, “I prefer to refrain from commenting on personal family affairs but would always be happy to comment in business or other matters. I prefer not to comment at all, to be very honest, as we don’t comment on personal matters as family policy.”
Lalit Modi was earlier married to Minal Modi who passed away in 2018, due to cancer.
Talking about work front, Sushmita is currently working on Season 3 of Aarya.
