Bollywood actress and television presenter Mandira Bedi suffered a huge personal loss when her filmmaker husband Raj Kaushal died following a heart attack on June 30.

Mandira performed the last rites of her 49-year-old husband which were held at Shivaji Park crematorium, Dadar was also attended by their close friends from the industry including Sameer Soni, Ronit Roy, Dino Morea Ashish Chowdhry was present. Mandira, who has been keeping away from social media for a while, recently shared a heartbreaking picture on her Instagram handle. On Monday evening, she posted a second post since the sudden demise of her husband.

Hours after dropping heartbreaking snaps with Raj Kaushal on Instagram, Mandira tweeted another picture with her late loving husband. In the throwback picture that two can be seen posing goofily in the throwback picture. She captioned it, “RIP my Raji.”

Actor Suresh Menon replied to her tweet, “God give you immense strength to bear this great loss, our prayers with you and your lovely family.”

“I am so sorry for your loss Mandira. Shivani and I are praying for you and your family. Love and strength to you,” wrote Vir Das.

Recently, the television presenter changed her Instagram profile picture to a black screen as a mark of mourning.

For the unversed, Raj Kaushal, known for directing movies like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’, ‘Shaadi Ka Laddoo’ among many others. The filmmaker passed away following a heart attack. He is survived by his wife Mandira Bedi, son Vir and daughter Tara.

Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi got married in the year 1999 and were blessed with a son, Vir in 2011. The couple adopted Tara, last year in July.
