The statement further adds to the season to follow, hinting that the main character Seong Gi-Hun (Lee Jung-Jae) and the masked antagonist, the frontman (Lee Byung-hun) will both return.
However, despite revealing some of the difficulties Dong-hyuk is experiencing while trying to write the second season, Jung -Jae remains “excited”.
He adds, “When there’s a present you want. You are waiting for that and you are so excited to get it, you don’t want to have it little by little. You want the whole package at once, so I am just waiting for the director to give me the whole scenario, and I am really excited about it.”
