Actress Priyanka Chopra needs to introduction. She is a renowned figure in Bollywood and Hollywood. In her career journey, there have been few instances that are disrespectful and distasteful and no human being should have to go through that.

In an interview to the Zoe Report recently, Priyanka recalls working on a Bollywood film in 2002/2003, where in she had to seduce a male character. She states, “I’m seducing the guy and you have to take off one piece of clothing at a time. I wanted to layer up. The filmmaker was like, ‘No, I need to see her underwear. Otherwise, why would anybody come to watch this movie?’”

The statement was not said directly to her but to her stylist and she overheard it. She adds, “It was such a dehumanizing moment. It was a feeling of, I’m nothing else outside of how I can be used, my art is not important, what I contribute is not important.”

After two days, she exited the movie. Her father Ashok Chopra asked her to pay back the production, with her money, for what they had spent. Referring to the director, she says, “I just couldn’t look at him every day.”

Honestly, Priyanka’s moved to the West as she felt cornered by Bollywood, had beef with beef and there is way too much politics and nepotism in Bollywood.

Currently, Priyanka stars in Citadel created by Russo Brothers. The show is full of action. She will also soon be seen in the movie Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
