BTS leader RM chose to open out to his global ARMY and share some of his inner thoughts and sentiments that have been bothering him recently.

BTS, dubbed “one of the largest bands in the world,” has ruled over every musical chart and received awards all around the world over the past several years. The lads have gone a long way from Seoul to worldwide with their fans, affectionately known as ARMY, and show no signs of slowing down as they cooperate with world-class musicians. It is easy to lose one’s sense of self and time in the fast-paced life and glitter of the entertainment business, which is often represented in BTS’ songs.

BTS leader RM has put deep feelings into his compositions, and he is often responsible for the song lyrics. In a recent open letter to ARMY on WeVerse, the 28-year-old musician shared his innermost thoughts and emotions.

Rap Monster, real name Kim Nam-joon, stated on the WeVerse website that writing lengthy open letter articles was becoming tough for him. He also mentioned that, in order to keep his writing habit alive, he has opened out to his admirers for the first time in a long time.

“I still don’t know how much or how to communicate my ideas that are flying around in my brain,” he said, “but the concept of wanting people I love and all those who love us to be at peace for as long as possible remains unaltered.”

“Though I’ve also journeyed in quest of stability and tranquilly for a long time, I can’t get rid of the feeling that people—maybe even I, myself—always crave some form of drama,” he said. It’s like a bizarre sickness where you start feeling apprehensive as soon as you feel stable/settled for a while.” He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that nothing has changed over the years.
