Bollywood fashion icon Sonam Kapoor is celebrating 11 years of her romantic-comedy film, I Hate Luv Storys on Friday. To mark the special day the actress shared a post on social media. I Hate Luv Storys was her third film that was released back in 2010. The actress essayed the lead character Simran, opposite actor Imran Khan, who portrayed Jay.

Sonam Kapoor has come a long way in her showbiz career. On Friday, the Khoobsurat actress celebrated the 11th anniversary of the I Hate Luv Story by sharing the film’s poster on her Instagram story. Along with it, she dropped heart emojis.

Dharma Productions also celebrated 11 years of the film on their official Instagram page. Along with a video, they captioned it, “Eventually and ultimately, ‘luv’ catches up to you! #11YearsOfIHateLuvStorys #IHateLuvStorys @karanjohar @apoorva1972 @imrankhan @sonamkapoor @punitdmalhotra #IHLS .”

About the film 

I Hate Luv Storys is a Hindi language romantic comedy-drama starring Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan. The film was helmed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Dharma Productions and UTV Motion Pictures. The film was about Simran, who loves Bollywood romances. Besides Simran having a perfect fiancé and a great job, she falls for Jay, who hates love stories. The budget of the film was Rs 30 crore and it earned over Rs 82 crore, making it a blockbuster hit.

What’s on Sonam’s work front?

On the work front, Sonam will be seen in Blind. The crime thriller is a Hindi remake of a Korean film of the same name. The film also features Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli, and Lillete Dubey in supporting roles and is directed by Shome Makhija.
