The studio said on Monday that it will have about 17 releases in the coming year, including Bollywood and Hollywood blockbusters like Taapsee Pannu’s “Loop Lapeta,” Mahesh Babu’s “Major,” superhero picture “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” and “Venom 2- Let There Be Carnage.”

The company, which recently released writer-director Rensil D’Silva’s “Dial 100” and Satramm Ramani’s comedy “Helmet,” said in a statement that it will introduce four new directors this year.

They will release “Tera Kya Hoga Lovely,” starring Ileana D’Cruz and Randeep Hooda, and directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua (writer of “Saand Ki Aankh” and “Mubarakan”).

Aakash Bhatia, an ad filmmaker, directed “Looop Lapeta,” which also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin. Sony Pictures Films India, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar, and Aayush Maheshwari produced the official remake of the German film “Run Lola Run.”

Vinay Chhawal, Ketan Pedgaonkar, and Aakash Bhatia wrote “Looop Lapeta.”

The company is also working on a big-screen underwater thriller with filmmaker Ram Madhvani and Amita Madhvani’s Ram Madhvani Films (RMF). Renuka Kunzru wrote the screenplay.

Nitin Parmar, a well-known commercial filmmaker, will make his directorial debut with RMF.

“Saale Aashiq,” the directorial debut of writer-director team Siddharth-Garima, will also be released by the company. According to the press release, “Saale Aashiq” is a “new take on honor murders” and a “romance-drama that is youthful, raw, and exciting.”

“Nikamma,” directed by Sabbir Khan, is one of the films by seasoned filmmakers. Abhimanyu, Shirley Setia, and Shilpa Shetty feature in the action drama. Sony Pictures Films India and Sabbir Khan Films are producing the film.

Umesh Shukla has been tapped to direct “Aankh Micholi.” Abhimanyu, Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Divya Dutta, Darshan Jariwala, and Grusha Kapoor appear in the film, which is billed as a family entertainer.

“Major,” a film based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was slain during the 26/11 attacks, is also produced by the company.
