Sunny Deol appeared in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8 along with Bobby Deol and talked about his collaboration with Aamir Khan for their latest project ‘Lahore 1947.’
Sunny Deol added, “When Aamir Khan came to the success party of Gadar 2, he came to me and said that he wanted to meet me. I surprisingly asked myself what it was all about, and the next day we met, we discussed some ideas and possibilities for cooperation and after the conclusion, we came to this project and that’s how it happened.”
Going back in time the duo has not shared a great chemistry. In 2001, Deol’s Gadar- Ek Prem Katha and Khan’s Lagaan clashed at the box office. In 1990, Lagan and Gadar clashed and in 1996, Raja Hindustani and Ghatak locked horns.
For the movie Lahore 1947, Sunny Deol will be the lead actor, Rajkumar Santoshi will helm the project and Aamir Khan will produce the film. We are all looking forward to this epic movie with the epic stalwarts of the industry shaping this film.
