Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Mandar Chandwadkar, who essays the role of Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide on the comedy show has been tested negative for COVID-19 and will now resume the shooting of the show. The television actor was contracted with the virus earlier this month.

 As per the recent reports, the actor has tested negative and will resume shooting from Friday or Saturday. The actor mentioned that, “the team of the show has been very supportive during my quarantine period, the period of show Asit Kumar Modi used to call me in 4-5 days to check on my health and have given time to me for recovery as well.”

Earlier, when the actor was tested positive he shared that, “My symptoms of cold had actually gone away but yesterday I could not smell camphor in puja, I felt I had lost the sense of smell and got myself tested. As my reports came positive, I informed the unit of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ and also asked Sonalika and Palak to get themselves tested.

Adding further he mentioned, “I am taking every possible care, I am home quarantine, and I am keeping a track on my oxygen levels in every three hours as I have an oximeter at home. But overall, I am fine. I am reading books, watching a lot of Television.
