Akshay Kumar is multi-talented and is good at delivering several projects in a year. The last year was not so lucky for him, yet he’s popular. One of his next projects is the 1989 mining incident, that was called Capsule Gill and is now retitled The Great Indian Rescue.

This is a biopic, based on the real-life events of Jaswant Singh Gill, who was brave enough to rescue 65 miners trapped in a flooded coal mine in Raniganj. The first look of the movie is out and our hero looks great in a turban.

A close confidant tells us, “The film is now called The Great Indian Rescue. The makers feel that it does justice to the plot of the film. Also, they believe that title mein dum hai. It is based on an incredible real rescue mission and what better title than The Great Indian Rescue.”

The movie has Parineeti Chopra and is produced by Pooja Entertainment. It is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, who is famous for Rustom, the movie with the court room drama.

The movie has been shot in Yorkshire and we are all looking forward to this heart-moving tale. Akshay has a knack for effortlessly being perfect at embodying real time heroes, Airlift movie being a perfect example.

On the work front, Akshay has Bade Miya Chote Miyan, along with Tiger Shroff and Selfiee.
