BTS has become the most well-known boy band in the planet. Whether you like K-pop or not, you’ve almost certainly heard these guys sing. BTS also has a global following. But are you familiar with the acronym BTS? BTS stands for ‘bulletproof boy scouts,’ which is a Korean expression.

The ARMY, a global fan base for the South Korean boy band, is made up of admirers from all around the world. The ARMY stands for ‘Adorable Representative MC for Youth,’ though. Meanwhile, the boyband’s leader, Kim Nam-Joon nicknamed RM, is one of the native Korean boy band’s greatest English speakers. He has claimed, though, that he learned the language via watching a popular 90s sitcom.

BTS is now well-known all over the world, yet there was a period when they were struggling to make ends meet. Seven members of the boyband used to share a one-room flat. The band did not become famous quickly, and it took them around three years to achieve fame. The group’s try-outs took place in 2010 at Big Hit Entertainment. The band, on the other hand, did not debut until 2013.

However, they have become an international sensation, and it is difficult to envision BTS being referred to as anything other than BTS. They were almost called ‘Big Kidz’ or ‘Young Nation,’ but decided on Bangtan Sonyeondan at the last minute. All of the work is done by the well-known K-pop group.

They do everything themselves, from composing a song to writing, editing, and recording all of their tracks. BTS does, however, collaborate with other artists on occasion. Everyone, including BTS members, has their own goals or dreams to attain. Jeon Jung-Kook admitted in an interview that his 10-year plan was to either become a tattoo artist or the proprietor of a duck meat restaurant. He hasn’t altered it to become a tattoo artist or a composer/musician, either.
