Bollywood’s power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt flew down to island nation Maldives for a vacation after recovering from novel corona virus. The couple was spotted at the Mumbai airport twinning in white and black masks today morning. The duo has recently tested negative with the deadly virus.
After Ranbir Kapoor recovered from the virus, Alia Bhatt was diagnosed with the virus on April 2 and went under home quarantine. The actress took to her social media last week to confirm that she has been tested negative of Covid-19. She shared her picture in which she looked all radiant in her no-make up look in a blue sweatshirt paired with peach pyjamas. She took to her official Instagram account and wrote, “The only time being negative is a good thing.”
The 28- year -old actress was busy shooting for her upcoming period drama film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she was tested positive.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra is the worst affected state in the country. The state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced a strict ‘Janta Curfew’ in the state on April 13 to break the chain of the deadly virus. The curfew has been imposed from 8pm on April 14 and remains imposed till 7am on May 1. Also, the government has imposed a halt on shoots.
Earlier, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani also jetted off to Maldives for the vacation.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together in Ayan Mukherjee’s upcoming movie Brahmastra.
Apart from this, Alia also has RRR of SS Rajamouli also featuring Ram Charan. Whereas, Ranbir Kapoor has Animal opposite Parineeti Chopra.He also has Luv Ranjan’s untitled movie with Shraddha Kapoor.
