Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Viacom 18, has struck a massive deal with Warner Bros Discovery Inc. to feature popular Hollywood content. Fans will get access to all the popular shows and movies such as Succession, Game of Thrones, the Harry Potter series, the Lord of the Rings and several other content that is now missing from HBO.
JioCinema is vying its way to get a huge chunk of the OTT market in India. Besides licensed content, the platform is upping its original content as well. They plan to release as many as 100 movies and shows in the next 18 to 24 months.
