Following a viral video, the inspector changed his opinion

0

After a video of him having a passionate discussion with a woman over a video call went viral, an inspector was transferred from the Tirukazhukundram police station. In the meanwhile, he was moved to a vacant reserve position.

According to sources, a 38-year-old man from Old Washermen pet filed a complaint with the Director General of Police, the Inspector General of Police for the North Zone, and the Superintendent of Police for Chengalpattu over the inspector’s suspected unlawful familiarity with his wife.

The guy said that his wife had been avoiding him since she frequently visited her sister in Nelvoy village, near Tirukazhukundram. He stated he checked her phone when he became dubious of her loyalty.

He claimed he was taken aback when he saw a naked video of the inspector on her phone. According to the guy, the inspector was having an affair with his wife. After that, he said, she moved live with her sister in Nelvoy.

When the inspector questioned him, the guy claimed that the inspector intimidated him. Meanwhile, the inspector’s footage became viral on social media and text messaging services.

P. Vijayakumar, Chengalpattu SP, ordered the inspector’s transfer after receiving the complaint.

“We have received a complaint,” Mr. Vijayakumar stated. In the meantime, the officer in question was transferred from the station to a vacant reserve post. Further investigation will be carried out, and required action will be taken after the investigation is completed

Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes feature in a unique version of Romeo and Juliet

0

There have been several versions of the Bard’s ultimate love tragedy over the years. Only a handful of them, though, have captured the play’s emotional high points – love and loss. In 1996, a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes from Homeland was released with the same name. Yes, I’m referring to William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

They were both young and not very well-known at the time. However, the film made them celebrities and was well-received by both reviewers and audiences. It would be a pleasant surprise if this happened to any film, but it was much more uncommon in this instance because Romeo and Juliet have been adapted several times, and it seemed expected to offer the storey as the proverbial old wine in a new bottle. But Baz Luhrmann, the filmmaker and co-writer, pulled out a fantastic trick from his bag, one that combined his distinctive sense of style with sympathetic storytelling. And, lo, there it was! We had a winner on our hands.

The families of Romeo and Juliet are depicted as warring parties who can’t tolerate one other in the film, which is a contemporary twist on the renowned play. Guns are used instead of swords, and narcotics are used. With a few exceptions, the filmmaker managed to keep the story’s core intact. Romeo, who was yearning for someone else at the time, comes into Juliet at a party and the two are instantly smitten.

To many, what follows may appear to be an old-school Bollywood masala film, with feuding family members running after each other, desperate for blood. Another thing Luhrmann accomplished with the film was to make us feel as though nothing was out of place, even while the leads took turns spouting flowery English speech. This is a noteworthy achievement given the environment, which, as previously said, is highly urbane. There are delivery services, city rushes, and two mafia families in contemporary America fight one other as their offspring pledge to be each other’s soulmates till death do them part.

In India, the new James Bond film has a strong start

0

According to trade website Box Office India, the latest James Bond film No Time to Die did well in India, grossing between 2 crore and 2.25 crore on its first day. The southern states continue to lead in box office receipts, although numbers have improved in recent weeks as north Indian regions such as Delhi contribute more than they did previously.

To be sure, the franchise is hoping to profit from the positive feeling in the Indian exhibition industry, which has been boosted by reports that Maharashtra cinemas would reopen on October 22. Thanks to 3-D versions in dubbed local languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, the Daniel Craig picture, which has been distributed in over 1,000 theatres, is anticipated to reach even tier-II towns.

Furthermore, unlike many recent Hollywood films, No Time to Die is being released simultaneously worldwide and in India, making it an appealing proposition for young audiences and ensuring that no pirated prints are circulating, as was the case with the other recent Hollywood action film Fast & Furious 9.

The most recent James Bond film, Spectre, was released in 2015 and grossed 36.88 crore at the box office, with an opening day gross of $8.4 crore, which was the franchise’s best opening day total to that point. In India, the older picture was released later than in many other countries, and it benefitted from the controversy surrounding some of the kissing sequences, which were judged excessively lengthy by then-censor board chairman Pahlaj Nihalani.

With a spate of major projects slated till December, the James Bond series is also laying the stage for Hollywood’s rebirth. The 3-D version, which was unveiled only days before the film’s theatrical release, is the first for a James Bond picture and is clearly designed to entice people to the theatres in these unusual times, according to industry experts. The reopening of south Indian states such as Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka has already benefited Hollywood in recent weeks, with Marvel’s Chinese origin superhero film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which earned a total of 23.58 crore at the time of writing, seeing the most gains from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Mysuru.

With a box office debut of $90 million, ‘Venom 2′ sets a new record

0

The Sony sequel debuted considerably ahead of the first ‘Venom,’ helping to spark the greatest weekend in North America since the COVID-19 crisis occurred.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage debuted to $90.1 million in the US box office, the largest three-day debut of the pandemic period, propelling the biggest weekend overall since COVID-19 shuttered cinemas in March 2020.

Domestic box office receipts fell less than 15% behind the same weekend in 2019 for the first time since the crisis began. Two years ago, the superhero phenomenon Joker opened to $96.2 million on the same weekend. Behind that picture, Venom 2 has the second-best October debut of all time, showing that moviegoing has returned to some sort of normalcy during the weekend.

Venom 2, produced by Sony in collaboration with Marvel Studios, surpassed estimates by $25 million to $30 million, making it the first sequel in the epidemic era to gross more than the first picture in a series (Venom grossed $80.3 million in 2018).

Rather than being published concurrently on premium VOD or a streaming service, the sequel was launched only in theatres.

The news for Hollywood and cinemas becomes much brighter. Cinemark, one of the three largest movie theatre chains in the country, had its best October opening weekend ever, as well as its best October weekend overall. According to the chain, this might be the second-busiest October weekend in the history of the business.

In a statement, Cinemark CEO Mark Zoradi stated, “This is just another solid evidence that consumers want and need to come out of their homes for an immersive entertainment experience.”

Every Remaining Question from The Teen Wolf Movie Can Be Answered

The Teen Wolf

In 2022, a film adaptation of the MTV popular series Teen Wolf will be released, and the eagerly anticipated production may provide answers to crucial unanswered issues.

Teen Wolf premiered on MTV in June 2011 and ran until September 2017, loosely based on the 1985 film of the same name. Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) is an adolescent who has a late-night encounter with a werewolf and is permanently transformed. Scott quickly finds himself fighting otherworldly dangers while simultaneously juggling his high school obligations.

Somewhat on fourth anniversary of the series conclusion, creator and showrunner Jeff Davis revealed that he will return to develop and executive produce a Teen Wolf sequel film. The film, which is set to debut in 2022 on the Paramount+ streaming service, begins when “a new frightening evil has formed in the community of Beacon Hills.” Several of the show’s antagonists will also return, according to the logline. Posey will, of course, return to reprise his role as Scott McCall.

Teen Wolf’s last episode opens with a two-year flashback, revealing that Scott and Chris Argent (JR Bourne) have teamed together to defend werewolves without a pack from hunters. Scott welcomes a new werewolf into his park and narrates what he’s been up to in the previous several years, bringing the storey to a happy conclusion. Scott basically claims that, despite the fact that all of his fellow werewolves, supernatural creatures, and human allies are busy with their own lives, they all come together when the circumstance demands it.

Another topic that the Teen Wolf film should try to solve is what happened to the numerous characters that vanished from the programme with little or no explanation on-screen. Danny Mahealani is the most famous example of this, according to many spectators (Keahu Kahuanui). Danny appeared on Teen Wolf from the first season onwards, and he remained a popular character until the season three finale. Danny then went off-screen without explanation just as he admitted that he’d known the truth about werewolves for a long time. The showrunner eventually revealed what had happened.

Shiddat is a passionate romance drama for people madly in love

Shiddat

“Why me?” she begins to question anguishfully.

He adds with a live heart, “Because you, are well, you.”

If there is a film that has seen a simple question about love validated answered in such a simple manner after Kabir Singh, it is Shiddat. In Shiddat, the man of the moment, Sunny Kaushal, chooses to pursue only one woman (Radhika Madan), the one for whom he is willing to give his life, despite the fact that she is about to get married, just like in the Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer where the man chooses to wait for the love of his life despite her being married.

Shahid Kapoor plays a physician who is clever and thinks with his mind as well as his heart, while Kiara is completely subservient in her love for him, according to Kabir Singh. Sunny is all heart here, and he doesn’t really think with his head. He believes he does, but he does not. Radhika, on the other hand, seems more concerned with reciprocating all of the affection and attention she is receiving, albeit one wonders whether she loves him as much as he loves her.

“Jab koyi aapko itna pyaar dikha raha ho toh deal kaise karte hain?” she asks. All she can utter is, “Confuse ho rahi hoon.” She does, of course, say “I love you” when she realises, she might as well have lost Jaggi for ever. Yes, that also makes jaggi feel fantastic. “Tu 60 saal ki ho jaa, tere chehre par wrinkles bhi aa jaaye, tu kha kha kar moti ho jaa, par tu aaj jitni khoobsurat hai naa mere liye, aage bhi itni hi rahegi,” he promises back.

It’s no surprise that when he’s asked to choose a dress for her, he imagines holding her, laying her head on his chest, placing one hand over her head, wrapping another arm over her waist, and then giving the right size.

For him, “jis koshish mein shiddat naa ho woh koshish kis kaam ki” is Shiddat!

No surprise, given all the love and foolishness, Mohit Raina, who plays an almost identical character to Sunny Kaushal, is the one who applies his brains. He is the man of reason; however, he does explore his emotional side towards the end of the film.

In terms of the picture as a whole, Shiddat is a one-of-a-kind love storey with moments that are both realistic and cinematic. It hits your heart, especially if you’ve ever been in a passionate relationship. For others, it may appear unrealistic, but Shiddat is a must-see for those who genuinely believe in transcending all barriers to discover the love of their lives.

Kangana Ranaut Holds a Bollywood Hero Responsible for ChaySam’s Split!

0

Akkineni Samantha and Naga Chaitanya confirmed their split on Saturday. The pair dissolved their four-year marriage without giving a cause for their breakup. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya’s father, described the breakup as sad. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, the controversial actress from Bollywood, has responded to the separation.

Kangana made two Instagram posts about it. She poked fun at guys who divorce women in one of the stories. In a previous report, the actress connected ChaySam’s breakup to Aamir Khan.

“I may seem orthodox or overly judgemental, but this is how God has created man and woman, their essence and dynamics,” Kangana wrote. He is a hunter and she is a nurturer, according to science. Stop being so kind to these brats who dress up as ladies and pretend to be their greatest friends. Yes, one lady out of hundreds might be mistaken, but that is the ratio. These brats should be ashamed of themselves for receiving support from the media and fans. They congratulate them and pass judgement on the woman. The divorce culture is exploding like it’s never been before.”

“This South actor, who was married for four years and had been in a relationship with his wife for more than a decade, just met a Bollywood celebrity who is also known as Bollywood divorce specialist, has wrecked the lives of many women and children, and is now his guiding light and agony aunt. As a result, everything went off without a hitch. This isn’t a blind purchase. In a tale, the actress wrote, “We all know who I’m talking about.”

In the instance of the cruise ship rave party, NCB is exploring for a larger ‘Bollywood link.’

0

In the Mumbai cruise ship rave party case, where Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son was detained and sent to one-day NCB detention, NCB chairman SN Pradhan stated on Sunday that the agency is investigating into a larger Bollywood link.

The NCB has expanded its probe, according to Pradhan, and has summoned the party’s organisers and event coordinators. The agency is also looking into the ship’s crew and a few foreign nationals.

On Saturday night, the NCB raided a cruise ship headed for Goa in Mumbai. Officials recovered cocaine, MD (mephedrone), charas, and MDMA during the operation (ecstasy).

“There is a Bollywood link, and we are looking at the case from all sides. We’re looking into the main supplier as well as the whole drug gang involved in this case “Pradhan informed the PTI news agency. He also stated that the inquiry will be conducted professionally. The NCB head stated that the agency put out significant effort and spent time following up on leads before entering the cruise ship as guests and carrying out the operations.

The NCB apprehended Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan, and seven other individuals early Sunday. Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were detained later that day. All three have been remanded in NCB detention until Monday (October 4), with a hearing scheduled for that afternoon.

According to PTI, which cited sources, the remaining five are being questioned and might be detained if incriminating evidence is discovered against them under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).

Vikrant Massey’s perspective on a B-town hero’s traditional path

0

Vikrant Massey is an actor who always manages to capture the audience’s attention, regardless of the medium. Whether it’s his early days in soap operas, his big break into movies and creating a name for himself, or his numerous OTT releases, his roles and material are always exciting to watch. And, while he plays a variety of roles on television, Vikrant prefers to keep things simple in real life.

Vikrant Massey spoke exclusively to E Times today on how he gets the best of the projects that come his way while staying away from the traditional approach for a Bollywood star. Vikrant Massey echoes same sentiments, claiming that it does not come easily to him. “Looking trendy all of the time, flashing glamorous photographs, and being active on social media is something I am not a pro at,” he continued. These add-ons are crucial in today’s world.

Despite the fact that I’ve been in the profession for more than a decade, I don’t have a large number of social media followers. It’s not anything I’m complaining about, but it is something I see as a significant factor in today’s world. I’m working on it, but it’s something I’m used to. I’d rather concentrate on what I do best, which is acting, to appeal to my audience.”

Now it appears that Vikrant has made his position on the conventional way quite plain, and that he is taking baby moves at his own pace. That’s fantastic. Because of the direct-to-OTT offers, Vikrant Massey was seen in a variety of films during the year. In films like Haseen Dilruba, 14 Phere, and Ginny Weds Sunny, he played a variety of roles and earned the hearts of viewers all over again. I enjoy watching this brilliant young man on television.

Netflix has been ordered by the HC to prohibit the first episode of the ‘Crime Stories: India Detectives’ series

0

Its High Court of Karnataka has ordered Netflix Entertainment Services India LLP to stop streaming, disseminating, telecasting, or otherwise making the material of the documentary series “Crime Stories: India Detectives” first episode “A Murdered Mother” on its platform.

On October 1, Justice B.M. Shyam Prasad issued the interim order in response to a plea submitted by Sridhar Rao S., a 28-year-old city resident and alleged co-accused in the murder of 54-year-old Nirmala Chandrashekar, which was reported at the K.R. Puram police station in February last year.

The first episode of this series, according to the petition, has content comprising pictures of the police investigation into the petitioner and another accused, Amrutha Chandrashekar.

Amrutha was accused of murdering her mother and attempting to murder her brother before fleeing to Andaman and Nicobar with the petitioner, who picked her up from her home in the city early on February 2, 2020, to take a flight to Port Blair.

The petition claims that Netflix is “streaming the petitioner’s tape, made by Minnow Films Ltd, on his custody interrogations, custodial interview, and the disparaging comment made by police throughout the inquiry in a way that is against the law.”

The petition claims that the petitioner is innocent, claiming that even Amrutha stated in his police statement that he was not involved in the crime, and that the incident has caused “a real and imminent threat of prejudice to the fairness of the trial and the petitioner’s rights under Article 21 of the Constitution, besides affecting his privacy.”
