UUNCHAI has broken the barriers of Bollywood cinema and the movie is getting rave reviews. It’s a life-story of 4 friends who are like family for one another. They meet on Bhupen’s birthday who has a passion for Everest and convinces them all to join him for a trek. Destiny has other plans and Bhupen passes away in his sleep. They are shell shocked and after the cremation, Amitabh Bachchan finds the tickets Bhupen had booked for them. After a lot of hue and cry and excuses about health, they finally agree to go for the trek and immerse the ashes in the base camp.

Sooraj Barjatya’s direction deserves an applause. He is known for his family movies, but this one on friendship and overcoming age barriers to achieve great heights, sets a marvelous example that anything is possible if we make up our mind to accomplish it. It inspires us that if we overcome the Everest within, all obstacles of life can be surmounted. The acting of Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher has us all hooked to the screens. They are to treat to watch, and they have proven that age is only a number. The excellent cinematography is worth a watch.

The movie is a complete family entertainer which teaches us about love and friendship. Its like a breath of fresh autumn air. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, hoping you enjoy it too!

Gladly the movie is getting good reviews at the box-office as well and the total collections are approximately Rs. 18 crores plus.
