A man in Florida bravely captures an alligator using a trash can. View a viral video

0

This Florida man accomplished something most of us couldn’t even imagine in our wildest imaginations in what can only be described as a daring act. He used a garbage bin to catch an alligator. The video has gone viral, with many people sharing it on various social media sites.

According to USA Today, the man in the video is Eugene Bozzi, a 26-year-old US army veteran. He explained that when his children informed him about the alligator, he believed it was a tiny one. When he noticed the gator’s size, he took action and grabbed the garbage bin to capture it.

The video begins with the man gently attempting to capture the reptile. People can be heard cheering him on in the video.

So far, 3.1 million people have seen the tweet, and the figure is rapidly growing. Some applauded the guy, while others voiced their disgust.

“That’s brave,” one Twitter user said. “I’ve had a gator in my yard a few times, and the way he handled it was the polar opposite of safe. For gator calls, animal control arrives faster than an ambulance. Another person said, “He and the gator might have been badly wounded.”

“I utilised the front as if it were a hippo’s mouth. I noticed that he was more frightened and backing down, so I knew I had the upper hand,” he told USA Today. He then released the alligator in a densely forested region near a body of water.

According to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, OTT has become a “Dhanda” for producers: ‘Unfortunately, the Quality Has Been Ruined.’

0

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been nominated for an International Emmy Award in the Best Performance by an Actor category for Sudhir Mishra’s Netflix film Serious Men, but he isn’t optimistic about the future of OTT in India.

The actor, who rode the first OTT wave with his brilliant performance in Sacred Games, believes that streaming services are no longer producing interesting material. “OTT got off to a great start, opening up new opportunities for Indian filmmakers and actors. The material on streaming platforms differed from that shown in theatres and had its own distinct aesthetic. But I’m starting to lose interest in it. There is a lot of stuff being released, but quality ekdum kharab ho chuki hai (quality has been ruined). Ek cliched ho chuka hai (OTT has become cliched). You might compare it to a television series in which you keep expanding and creating series after series.”

Siddiqui, who has worked on movies such as Serious Men, Raat Akeli Hai, and Ghoomketu, all of which were published on OTT platforms, claims that streaming platforms have become a business. “The large production houses have struck multi-million deals with streaming platforms,” he says. In the guise of content, many production firms just create mediocre material. We have a propensity of turning art into a business, and OTT bhi ek dhanda ban gaya hai aur production houses sirf paisa kama raha hai (OTT has become a profitable venture for production companies).”

The actor goes on to say that there are many great individuals who should be given a chance, saying, “There are so many passionate filmmakers who deserve to display their ability.” However, they are not given the opportunity. The audience wants to see good material as well, yet the major production firms are producing mediocre and terrible content. There was a time when OTT did not have a monopoly, but things are changing for the worst.”

Review of ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’

0

How can a monster with a hunger for human brains fit into a world of heroes? In the instance of Venom, Marvel appears to have responded by making him humorous and allowing him to battle monsters that are even more murderous than he is. Thus, Andy Serkis’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the second film for a character who could have been a true Deadpool-like outsider, portrays its subject as little more than a Marvel Universe stepchild; he’s doomed to inhabit stories structured exactly like the Avengers’ — until Disney’s synergistic needs demand that he actually crosses over into their saga.

The film, which was written by actor Tom Hardy and long-time collaborator Kelly Marcel, does build the chemistry between the titular extra-terrestrial and the human he is compelled to inhabit while within Earth’s atmosphere. However, the distinctness of this buddy-movie connection is sometimes overshadowed by massive set pieces of CG mayhem that feel just like those seen in the good guys’ flicks. Though it will delight most fans of the first chapter from 2018, Carnage demonstrates that superhero weariness extends to nonheroic as well.

There’s nothing wrong with the climactic fight, but the nicest part about Carnage’s action is that it doesn’t go on past the hour-and-a-half mark. Not to mention the credits and the obligatory hidden-scene coda, which suggests a return to Venom’s origins. The previous Spider-Man picture starring Venom (from 2007) is the webslinger’s worst big-screen adventure to date. Let’s hope the next time they meet paths, things go better — or at least go wrong in a more amusing way.

“I don’t think I can support myself only as an actor; I’m doing a lot more.” Dalljiet Kaur

While we are still dealing with the consequences of a continuing epidemic that has claimed millions of lives throughout the world, many people have lost their jobs, including our performers back home, as the entertainment sector shut down for the first time in many years last year.

Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega was the last place she was seen. Dalljiet Kaur, the actress has now expanded her wings into writing, directing, and producing. The actress, who has played a variety of parts over the course of her career and can still pass for a 20-something, will soon go to Dubai to film a web series written by her most recent lockdown.

Daljeet reveals, while keeping the other facts under wraps: “I believe the lockdown was a blessing in disguise, at least in terms of discovering a capability in myself that I was unaware existed. I started writing, and it seemed liberated at first. I shared it with a few friends, who encouraged me to continue honing my abilities and doing what made me happy. I began with storey plots and expanded on them. I think I’m pleased with what I’ve written; they’re short but powerful pieces, and I plan to direct and produce a couple of them. It’s an amazing stage in my career that I never expected to see.”

“As an actor and a single mother, I realised that performing alone was not enough to support me, which hit me when the lockdown was announced.” With certain brand ties, it was solely social media that kept me afloat. I’m thankful that I learnt at a young age to always save for a rainy day. I think and am aware that many brilliant people have been dismissed or are unemployed and are struggling to make ends meet.
